Joely was born in a small town in central Saskatchewan and grew up on her family's farm before relocating to Calgary. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminology before returning to Saskatchewan to complete her law degree at the University of Saskatchewan's College of Law.
Joely moved to Cold Lake in 2010 and she started her practice with Todd & Drake. Joely has a solicitor's practice centered in corporate and business law, real estate, and wills and estates.
